Sedentary behaviour refers to time spent sitting, reclining, or lying with low energy expenditure, during the waking hours. Replacing sedentary time with physical activity of any intensity provides health benefits.

This infographic may help you to think of everyday examples of how you can increase your physical activity and reduce your sedentary time. By doing this, you can improve your physical health, mental health, and functional health.
